A family run business from the harbour town Genova, making and distributing organic food. A pattern with a distinct color scheme inspired from the sea is consistently used on all packaging, making it easy to recognise. The labels are kept very simple, yet informative, and the typefaces chosen are inspired by Italian culture. The crest used in the logo and on the packaging is to emphasize the family aspect.
A chain of convenience stores about to start up in Chengdu, China. Meaning candle, Lazhu refers to the 24 hour opening hours; it is lighting up when everything else is closed. A distinct orange colour and a square logosymbol is used consistently to create a high level of recognition. The arrows that is used in the logo and as a graphic element symbolizes the efficiency, and the quickness of the store.
With inspiration from the 19th century bohemes of France,
this absinthe was created to reflect the mystique and the culture that the drink was surrounded by. It was believed
to stimulate creativity, raise the drinkers consciousness, insights, and emotional experience. Aiming for the high-end market this packaging is minimalistic with only two colours in addition to the dark green bottle; black and silver.
An anthology of short stories and poems presented in book format. Symbols have been used to reference the contents of each piece - but also the theme as a whole - to give the reader an instant impression of each story when flipping through the book.
A chocolate packaging with infographics inside that represent my skills and assets was made to promote myself as a designer. Also including a home made chocolate with my name and logo casted on, will hopefully give of a good impression and lead them to check out my website.
This brief was from Health Promotion Resources to make a calendar that appeals to a broad client base under the heading of 'Health and Safety in the workforce'. The approach was to make four A2 posters in an info-graphical style focusing on stress, sleep, diet and UV-exposure, informing about statistics, dangers and the precautions that should be taken.
To create a visual identity for Neumeier, a high-end boutique developer, an abstract snowflake represents the perfection and exclusivity that encompasses Neumeier creations, while expressing the tranquil and serene mood that is central in their look . The design of the stationary and brochure is minimalistic and clean, with a deep blue stock consistent with the logo.
The Royal Botanic Garden in Melbourne wanted to release a catalogue to encourage the use of water wise indigenous Australian plants. The approach was focused on allowing the information to be easily accessible, making the plants look appealing, while experimenting with expressive typography in an organic style.
To explore and understand my two chosen typefaces, I created an A1 poster explaining terms and the essentials of typography. The aim was to inform and educate whilst being visually appealing. The typefaces used are 'Plantin Std' and 'Corbel'.
A packaging box created to resemble the atmosphere that is communicated through the song 'Ribbons' by Four Tet. The feeling of space combined with a sense of the past is represented through a retro styled tin toy packaging depicting a robot in space.
Entry for the positive poster competition 2010 with 'glass half empty/half full' as theme. As any situation may be seen in a positive way and a negative way, the approach was to communicate this by a three-dimensional poster that is to be seen differently from both sides.
